A small corner of the internet for people who see Mondays differently (or are trying).
Notes is where I share my thoughts and experiences. Playlists is the soundtrack to my days. The Monday Circle is a space for the people and brands I’d like you to meet. They’re mostly small, almost always independent, but have taste worth following.

About the logo for I make my Mondays
I’m not a designer, but I wanted to draw my own logo. I knew I wanted to create a flower, with the I at the center and each of the three m’s forming a petal. This one was the one I chose after a few attempts. I liked its quirkiness, its imperfect symmetry.

Making Mondays Mine
Hitting pause
Monday is where I start. It’s a physical Monday, an opportunity to shape the week ahead, but it’s also a mental Monday, a pause I sometimes hit when I feel I’m losing my sense of direction. This category is about how I’m owning my own Mondays.
Culture That Travels, Or Not
Cross-cultural observations
I was born in Seoul. At three, I boarded my first flight to join my dad in Paris. After that came Surrey, England. Then back to Seoul for my teenage years, followed by Doha, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. Now firmly settled in Seoul, I enjoy noticing how language, behaviors, and ideas travel across cultures, and how they don’t.
Signals Before Words
Communication, non-verbal cues
In addition to working in marketing, I teach the language of interviewing. Language is not only spoken, it’s also in our facial expressions, the way we carry ourselves, and the energy we give off. The the non-verbal side of communication is just as rich as the verbal kind.
